How to enable Remote Desktop on a Server Core 2012
On the server, enter the following command to check the status to Remote Desktop.
cscript %windir%\system32\scregedit.wsf /ar /v
If the return value is 1 then enter the following command to enable RDP.
cscript scregedit.wsf /ar 0
The Windows Firewall automatically opens the appropriate port for RDP connection.
Now you can RDP to the server.
